DAYCARE - BOARDING - GROOMING
For the safety of all pets, clients, and staff all dogs need to be on a leash entering and leaving the facility.
Please take the time to create an account by clicking the tab above, upload your dog's vaccines and then give us a call to schedule their first daycare, boarding or grooming. After that you'll be able to conveniently book your dog's appointments online! Note that we cannot make a reservation without current vaccine records. We also recommend (not required) to bring your dog in for a day of daycare before a boarding appointment so that they may get familiarized with out staff, facilities and make new friends.

Please consult with your veterinarian for information regarding your dog's vaccination due dates and have them email it to us (hemingwayshappyhounds@hotmail.com) or bring in a copy for us to update our records.
AS OF JANUARY 1, 2025 WE WILL NO LONGER ACCEPT VACCINES DONE BY OWNERS OR BREEDERS. ALL VACCINES MUST BE GIVEN BY A LICENSED VETERINARIAN AND DOCUMENTED AS SUCH TO SHOW FULL GUARANTEED IMMUNITY.

Drop off times are NO LATER THAN 2 hours before closing time on reservation date. We would like them here as early as possible. This is to ensure your dog has had the proper attention and care before it is time to be put up for the night.
​
Our boarding pick up time is noon (12PM) Monday through Saturday. Any check out after 12PM is another day charge.
We do charge for Sunday. We are open for a courtesy pick up time between 5 and 6:30PM only. We are closed until this time.

A 1-night discount is given if you pick up after 12pm and your dog spent only one night with us.
​
We are unable to accommodate female dogs in heat.
Boarding & Daycare
Boarding Rates:
1 Dog $38 Per Day.
2 Dogs $68 Per Day.
3 Dogs $98 Per Day.
4 Dogs $128 Per Day.
If you have more than 4 dogs, please ask for these rates.

LUXURY SUITES
We have 10 large rooms with all the amenities of a 5 star hotel. Group or private play time, whichever you and your pet prefer. The suites are roomy enough to accommodate multiple dogs from the same family.

SMALL DOG CONDO AREA
The little ones have their own special place at our hotel and in our hearts. Separate outdoor play ground with a dog-door, so they can come in and out as they like. Plush bedding and blankets in each room.

MEDIUM/LARGE DOGS
Bigger dogs have lots of room to run. Indoor patios and a spacious outdoor playground provide lots of interaction and exercise. These rooms have Kuranda beds and fleece blankets. Happy dogs play lots then sleep soundly!

INDOOR/OUTDOOR ROOMS
For the dog that prefers not to socialize we offer rooms with private 50' exercise areas. These are perfect for in-tact males who cannot play in groups. We provide private play with staff.

Due to limited storage space, we ask that own food be put in labeled zip lock baggies for each meal OR gallon sized bags can be used, but please make sure there is enough for the duration of the stay for each dog.

Holiday/high season rates are applied when the dog(s) is/are physically here in the building during a major holiday or high season. These are:

Holiday Reservation Deposits
A $50 deposit is required at the time you are making the reservation. This deposit is applied to your total at pick up time.

A single-day rate of $40 deposit is required if there is only one dog spending one night.
​
If we do not receive a deposit, your reservation will be put on the wait-list and not reserved.
​
If the reservation extends days before or after the holiday days, the regular rate will be in effect for those days.
​
The check out time still applies Monday-Saturday. If the dog(s) is/are picked up by NOON, there is no additional charge for that day.

CANCELLATION POLICIES
Cancellations made 2 weeks prior to the arrival date will receive a full refund.
​
Cancellations made within 2 weeks of the check-in date will not receive a refund.
We understand and are sympathetic to unexpected changes that occur. In the past we have had to turn clients away due to being full, but then upon receiving last minute cancellations have found we have vacancies that can't be filled. We want to be able to secure a place for everyone but space is limited especially around holidays.
Daycare
As of April 1st 2024
All Dogs = $22.00 per day/per dog

Please call ahead to make sure we can accommodate your dog(s). We do have limited space on occasion due to high boarding reservations.
Daycare drop-off is from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Your pet must be picked up by 6:00 p.m. (5:00 p.m. on Saturday). Any dog not picked up by closing time will be assigned a hotel room and their parents charged for an overnight stay.
Dogs that are not spayed or neutered cannot be guaranteed time out in full group.
Daycare services include indoor and outdoor play areas, cable TV, toys to climb on and play with, hours of play with other dogs and staff supervision. You may bring your pet a snack or lunch and we can serve it at nap time.

An evaluation will be done on your pet to make sure your pet is compatible with other dogs in daycare. This is for the protection of your pet and others.
